Maunatrip Public Offer and Expedition Rules
Last updated: 3 November 2026
1. General provisions
1.1. This document is a public offer (Articles 633 and 641 of the Civil Code of Ukraine) made by individual entrepreneur Nataliia Hennadiivna Hazhala, taxpayer number (RNOKPP) 2809806282, trading under the Maunatrip brand (the “Provider”). The offer is addressed to any person with full legal capacity (the “Participant”) and sets out the terms for organising Maunatrip group tours.
1.2. Definitions: Tour — a specific trip with the dates and programme published on maunatrip.com. Programme — the day-by-day description of the tour and the list of what the price includes, on the tour page. Partner — the receiving company in the tour country that provides services on the ground. The Provider names the Partner for a specific tour in the booking confirmation.
1.3. The Programme and the “Included / Not included” list on the tour page form an integral part of this contract.
2. Subject of the contract
2.1. The Provider undertakes to organise a tour for the Participant according to the Programme, and the Participant undertakes to pay for it and to comply with the terms of this contract.
2.2. The Provider delivers on-the-ground services (accommodation, domestic flights, helicopter, transfers, permits, porters, local guides) through the Partner and other suppliers. The Provider is responsible to the Participant for the proper organisation of the whole tour, subject to sections 7, 8 and 13.
2.3. The Participant buys the international flight to and from the tour country themselves, unless otherwise agreed in writing. The Provider may help choose a flight but is not a party to the carriage contract.
3. Conclusion of the contract
3.1. Booking procedure: the Participant submits a request → the Provider confirms that a place is available and sends the Programme and an invoice → the Participant completes the participant form and pays the deposit.
3.2. The contract is concluded when the deposit reaches the Provider’s account. Payment means that the Participant has read and accepts this offer, the Programme and the Privacy Policy. The contract is concluded in electronic form under the Law of Ukraine “On Electronic Commerce”.
3.3. On the Participant’s request, the Provider sends a booking confirmation with the tour dates, the services included, the price and the payment schedule.
4. Price
4.1. The tour price, its currency and what it includes are stated on the tour page. The price is per person.
4.2. For what is and is not included in the price, see the “Price” section on the tour page.
4.3. A price stated in a foreign currency is paid in hryvnia at the National Bank of Ukraine rate on the day of payment, unless another method is agreed in writing.
4.4. The Provider may change the price of a tour already booked only because of changes in carrier fares, government fees or exchange rates, no later than 30 days before the tour starts and by no more than 5%. If the Participant does not agree, they may withdraw from the contract with a refund of all amounts paid.
5. Payment
5.1. Deposit — 30% of the tour price, payable within 3 days after the place is confirmed. Without a deposit the place is not held.
5.2. Balance — payable no later than 30 days before the tour starts. If the booking is made less than 30 days before the start, 100% of the price is paid.
5.3. The Provider sends the payment details in the invoice after confirming the booking. Payment is made only to the account stated in the Provider’s invoice.
5.4. If the balance is not paid on time, the Provider reminds the Participant and gives 3 days to pay. After that the booking may be cancelled under the rules of section 6.
6. Cancellation by the Participant
6.1. The Participant may cancel the tour at any time by notifying the Provider in writing (email or messenger). The cancellation date is the date the notice is received.
6.2. If the Participant cancels the tour, the Provider retains 30% of the amount paid to cover the costs of organising the tour and refunds the rest — 70% of the amount paid. This rule applies if the Participant cancels no later than 30 days before the tour starts. If the Participant cancels later, the amount paid is not refunded: by then it has already been paid to the Partner and suppliers.
6.3. The Participant may transfer their place to another person who meets the requirements of sections 10 and 11 by giving notice no later than 21 days before the tour starts. The Participant pays any additional costs of reissuing permits and tickets.
6.4. Refusal of entry, no-show, late arrival for the start or leaving the tour early for reasons within the Participant’s control count as declining the unused services. In such cases the tour price is not refunded.
6.5. Refunds are made within 14 days of the cancellation date by the same method used for payment. Bank transfer fees are borne by the recipient.
7. Cancellation and changes by the Provider
7.1. The minimum group is 5 participants. If the group is not filled, the Provider may cancel the tour by notifying the Participant no later than 30 days before the start. In that case the Provider refunds 100% of the amount paid.
7.2. If the Provider cancels the tour for any reason other than force majeure (section 8), it refunds 100% of the amount paid.
7.3. The Provider informs the Participant of significant changes to the Programme before the tour (dates, route, accommodation level) as soon as it learns of them. The Participant may accept the changes or withdraw from the contract with a refund of all amounts paid.
7.4. Changes during the tour due to weather and transport. Domestic flights, helicopter flights, transfers and progress along the mountain route depend on the weather and may be delayed or cancelled. The Provider may change the order of days or the programme because of weather, flight cancellations, or decisions of carriers or authorities. If the Programme includes a reserve day, it is used for such changes.
7.5. The Provider pays for extra nights and meals within the reserve day. If a delay lasts longer than the reserve day, the Participant pays the additional costs (accommodation, meals, rebooking the international ticket). The Provider helps arrange them and recommends insurance that covers flight delays.
7.6. A guide’s decision to change the route for safety reasons (section 12) is not a breach of contract.
8. Force majeure
8.1. Force majeure means circumstances that the parties could not foresee or prevent and that make the tour impossible or dangerous: natural disasters, earthquakes, avalanches, floods, epidemics, closure of borders, airspace or airports, military action, terrorist attacks, decisions of the authorities of the tour country.
8.2. A party that cannot perform the contract because of force majeure notifies the other party within 3 days and provides confirmation: a certificate of the Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, or official notices from the authorities of the tour country, carriers or airports.
8.3. Martial law in Ukraine is not in itself force majeure for a tour abroad. It is force majeure only if it directly makes performance of the contract impossible.
8.4. If force majeure occurs before the tour starts, the Provider refunds the amount paid less the actual costs that suppliers have not refunded to the Provider.
8.5. If force majeure occurs during the tour, the Provider helps the Participant return safely and refunds the cost of services that were not provided and for which suppliers have refunded the money.
9. Insurance
9.1. Every Participant must hold an international insurance policy for the whole tour that covers: the Programme activities at the maximum route altitude stated on the tour page; emergency helicopter evacuation of at least 30,000 USD; medical expenses of at least 50,000 USD.
9.2. The Participant sends a copy of the policy no later than 14 days before the tour starts. Without a policy the Participant is not admitted to the trekking part, and its cost is not refunded.
9.3. We also recommend trip cancellation and flight delay insurance. On request, the Provider will suggest insurers.
10. Documents and visa
10.1. The Participant is responsible for a valid international passport: valid for at least 6 months after the return date and with blank pages for a visa.
10.2. If a visa is required to enter the tour country, the Participant obtains it themselves. Whether the visa fee is included in the price is stated on the tour page. The Participant is responsible for obtaining the visa.
10.3. No later than 30 days before the tour starts, the Participant sends a copy of their passport and a photo for permits and domestic flights. If the details are wrong or sent late, the Participant pays the cost of reissuing.
11. Health and age
11.1. Participants must be 18 or older. A person aged 16–17 may take part only together with a parent or legal guardian and with their written consent.
11.2. The maximum route altitude is stated on the tour page. Before the trip, the Participant consults a doctor about the physical and altitude load and the flight.
11.3. In the participant form, the Participant honestly discloses chronic conditions, medication, allergies, pregnancy and past surgery. This information is needed only for safety on the route; how it is processed is described in the Privacy Policy.
11.4. The Participant brings enough personal medication. If the Participant has concealed a health condition that endangers them or the group, the Provider may refuse to admit them to the trekking part without refunding its cost.
12. Safety and the guide’s decisions
12.1. Mountains are a high-risk environment. The lead guide’s decisions on safety, pace, route changes or the Participant’s descent for medical reasons (including symptoms of altitude sickness) are final and binding.
12.2. The Participant follows the guide’s instructions, does not leave the group without warning, does not drink alcohol above 3,000 m, and respects local customs, nature and national park rules.
12.3. If the Participant seriously breaches safety or conduct rules and thereby endangers themselves or the group, the guide may remove them from the tour. Unused services are then not compensated, and the Participant pays the cost of a separate return.
12.4. Evacuation and treatment costs are covered by the Participant’s insurance (section 9). If the insurance does not cover them, the Participant pays them.
13. Liability
13.1. The Provider is responsible for the proper organisation of the tour and the provision of services included in the price, including services provided by the Partner and suppliers.
13.2. The Provider is not liable for the consequences of: the Participant’s actions or breaches; actions of third parties unrelated to the provision of services under this contract; force majeure; delays and cancellations of international flights bought by the Participant; loss of luggage by a carrier; loss of or damage to personal belongings, unless caused by the Provider’s fault.
13.3. Nothing in this contract limits the Provider’s liability for harm to life or health caused by its fault, or limits the Participant’s rights as a consumer.
13.4. The Participant compensates for damage they cause to the Provider, the Partner or third parties, including fines paid on their behalf.
14. Photos and video
14.1. During the tour the team takes photos and video for Maunatrip’s social media and website. If you do not want to appear on camera, tell the guide and we will not publish images of you.
14.2. You may withdraw your consent at any time by writing to maunatrip.admin@gmail.com. New publications featuring you stop, and we remove published ones from our accounts within 14 days.
15. Complaints and dispute resolution
15.1. If something during the tour does not match the Programme, tell the guide or coordinator straight away so we can fix it on the spot.
15.2. A written complaint can be sent to maunatrip.admin@gmail.com within 30 days after the tour ends, describing the problem and, where possible, with supporting evidence. The Provider replies within 14 days. Missing this deadline does not deprive the Participant of their statutory rights.
15.3. The parties try to settle disputes through negotiation. If this fails, the dispute is heard by a court under the laws of Ukraine. A Participant who is a consumer may bring a claim in the court of their place of residence. Participants from the EU keep the mandatory consumer protection rules of their country.
15.4. The contract is governed by the laws of Ukraine.
16. Personal data
How personal data is processed is described in the Privacy Policy (maunatrip.com/privacy). The Participant gives specific consents (to processing of health data, transfer of data to the partner in the tour country, marketing cookies) separately.
17. Language, changes and term
17.1. The offer is valid from the date of publication on the website until withdrawn. The Ukrainian version is authoritative; the Russian and English versions are translations.
17.2. The Provider may amend the offer. Amendments do not apply to contracts concluded before their publication unless the Participant agrees to this in writing.
